HELLO MOMMY Unborn child anglais

Hello mommy… No, please don’t turn away, I’m right here. I know you so well, although as yet you don’t know me. I am inside you – I snuggle here deep inside of you. I am the blossom that you nurture day by day. I’ve been waiting for eight long months to talk to you. Listen to me, put one ear close to your belly. Here it comes, I feel a shudder. I have ears but I can’t hear. I have a mouth but it is mute. My eyes are half-closed and I can’t see a thing; but when you are sad, I cry with you, and my tears melt. And at night, I sense the muffled tremors of your soft voice, the sweet echo of your nightly caress, but also mysterious thunder and sometimes frightening shockwaves.

I can imagine the pain waving over us with every muscle contraction. Who would want to attack you so cruelly in your world outside? It makes me so sad. Mommy dearest, I promise you that my love for you knows no bounds and that, when the day comes, I will defend you with my whole being. Just see how fast I am growing. After all, you feed me so well with your goodness. Do you hear my heart beating fast in your ear? It is beating for you and I will always watch over you.

After the hard journey that awaits me, no one will ever hurt you again. I will never stop crying while I feel that you are sad. I’ll cover myself in a horrible rash to distract and protect you. I will even go so far as to die for you, mommy dear. I will not eat again until serene love returns.

When you are old and weary, I will carry you in my arms. And let me say that if your ears can no longer hear, I will paint fairytale landscapes for you. If your eyes can no longer see, I’ll kiss your wrinkled hands and your sunken cheeks … and you will recall those subtle waves of caresses from the past.
